Who can join ECMAR?

Membership is open to organisations:

Providing applied maritime R&D.
Active in the field of offshore, shipbuilding and shipping; for example in safety aspects, environment issues, design, production, hydrodynamics, ship operation, economy, nautical aspects.
With a primary focus on commercial activities
Located in one of the European member, candidate or economic area states.
Approved by the general assembly.
Voting rights at the general assembly

Associated membership is open to organisations:

For a part providing applied maritime R&D
Active in the field of offshore, shipbuilding and shipping; for example in safety aspects, environment issues, design, production, hydrodynamics, ship operation, economy, nautical aspects
With a primary focus on commercial activities
Located in one of the European member, candidate or economic area states

No voting rights at the general assembly
